This and That

A little of this and a little of that is how I have been working in the studio lately. I think the heat is getting to me because I cannot concentrate on any one task.

So just a little of this and that photos of what I have worked on!

A couple of girls to finish. One is a baby gift.

I finished my flag I was working on but I am not sure I like it. It's a little bright.

I am still following along with Kathleen Tracy at A Sentimental Quilter, making a small quilt of hers each month. This is July's.

This is one of Kathleen's patterns that I made for June. I made mine just a little larger than hers.

Civil War era pincushion with strawberry emery. I love this!

New Warp going on the AVL

Almost halfway on 1300 ends to be threaded.

I told you! I am all over the place right now!

Wishing everyone a good weekend wherever you are!

I don't know what this old piece of equipment is but Pog thinks it is a horse drawn hay baler.

Beautiful flowers from a neighbors garden.

I hope you enjoyed our walk with us.
Pog and I walk two and one half miles at least five times a week. We have a beautiful place to walk through Camp Celo and Arthur Morgan School.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Kit Update

Kit is still only taking a few bites.  On the last visit to the vet, she said just to wait and see how she does. They really could not find anything wrong with her other than some tenderness in her tummy. We have tried everything to tempt her to eat but she really doesn't want to do anything but sleep and lay in our laps. She doesn't seem to be in any pain but  I am so worried about her. She seems to be getting weaker. I am not ready to let her go but I am afraid she is not going to get better and I am not going to let her suffer. We will do what the vet said,  just wait and see.

Whats on the Cranbrook

It has been a long time since I have made these but with a large supply of denim which my daughter helped prepare, it is time to make more!

Denim Rugs in Log Cabin Pattern

I love this combo of colors!
