Holiday Magic

So much magic crammed into December.
Good food, the magic of getting everything done,
the decorations and lights, talking to family long distance
but to me the best is time spent with each other and our children.
We got to spend a long weekend visiting my daughter
then spent a nice quiet Christmas day eating our Chinese feast
with another daughter then this weekend more family will be here.
That is the holiday magic to me.
They come and go at different times but each moment is special.
I hope each and everyone is having holiday magic of his or her own.
                                           Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays,
                                           Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa
                                                or however you celebrate!!

  2. Sounds as though you and yours are having a wonderful Christmas holiday. Your decorations are lovely, especially the large tree. I'm sure it's a real one, I can smell the pine scent all the way here! Pog has certainly out done himself with the Chinese meal. The hubby and I had a Christmas eve dinner at the local Panda House, it was in honor of the movie A Christmas Story. Our son made it home on Christmas day & will stay till Sunday. That was so special for us, nothing compares to having your children around at Christmastime. Our daughter has shows through New Years Eve, something we are used to, but she will come for a long visit in January. So our Christmas has been a good one. Best wishes!

  4. What a wonderful time it is isn't it! If we had a decent chinese food restaurant around here I would be right on board with the feast for Christmas that's for sure. So glad the magic of the season touched you and yours! Lovely decorations.
