A couple of productive days at the looms,
have resulted in some Hit and Miss table runners
and a couple of cabin rugs being woven.
I've had my I Pod playing my favorite music.
A crazy combination of John Prine, Carolina Chocolate Drops,
Otis Reading, The Temptations
and even some Credence Clearwater and Rolling Stones.
My taste in music is eclectic to say the least!
The only kind I do not like is county and classical.
My studio floors are beginning to look like this.
The runners will come off of the loom this afternoon
and then I will be cleaning the studio!
Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!
The last hurray of summer.
Ooooo....those table runners and rugs look wonderful!! I wish I could weave!! Your taste in music sounds pretty much like mine...except I do enjoy country and classical....Just leave out the rap and heavy metal. ;o) Have a wonderful holiday weekend! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteYes I can leave out the rap and heavy metal too.
DeleteYouve been very productive! The hit and miss runners look so good!
ReplyDeleteHave a great last hurrah of summer!!!
You really did had a productive couple of days at the loom. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished products.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for Country in general but some are OK, I really don't care for Heavy Metal or Rap, however I love to listen to some classical music and everything else as long as the lyrics are not offensive. As I get older I like the relaxing music as my days are usually so hectic and I just feel the need to just slow down.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
JB
I love the colors of the first one - I would love to see it when it is finished!

Looks like a day in heaven to me.
