After the studio tour this past weekend and a few days rest,
I am back to work.
The tour was great with the majority of visitors and sales
on Saturday.
I love to meet and talk to the varied and interesting people who came
to my studio.
I especially enjoyed the young people who are interested and so
eager to learn.
I had one young lady who sat at a floor loom and threw a
shuttle for the very first time!
Maybe she was inspired to be a future weaver
and carry our tradition on.
If you live in or
close to this area, the next studio tour will be December 5 thru the 7th.
The holiday tour is a great time to pick up gifts for friends and family
but
also a great time for that special holiday treat for you!
I already have
specials planned for that tour which I will begin working on soon.
It is hard to believe that I am already making items for
Fall and Christmas.
Time will fly by and be here before we know it so I am
planning way ahead of time.
I have a few UFO’s
lying around, one of which was this little stack of pumpkins.
There are a lot
more UFO’s to finish in between working on the planned projects
and of course
there is always room for inspiration too!
A big Thank You to
all for a wonderful tour weekend!
I'm glad that you had a great tour and that you're back at work finishing some Cute UFOs to turn into money at the next sale. The way time goes, it won't be long before the cooler weather and people looking for Christmas gifts.

Ooops, I meant to say how much I love your little stack of pumpkins with the black bird or crow.

So happy to hear your tour was a great success! I've been working with witches and pumpkins, too. It does go fast...right into the holidays...once the Fourth of July is here it's full speed ahead. Love your pumpkin stack and crow!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday,
Robyn
The tour was really great! Your studio looked great and you had so many wonderful items for sell. I am enjoying my new dish towel! I know many say they look to good to use but I washed one yesterday (that I had bought from you at a previous tour) and it came out of the dryer looking brand new. You do some wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jes! It is always so good to have you here!
DeleteSo happy your weekend was a success.
ReplyDeleteLove your little stack of pumpkins. Oh, I don't want to think beyond summer!!!
Hugs :)
